Monster Energy-Backed Sebastien Pourcel Leads France To 2nd Place at MXoN
Pourcel goes 4-9 in MX 1 class to lead French racers @ Budds Creek, USA
CORONA, Calif., (Sept. 25, 2007) –Monster Energy/Kawasaki/GPKR’s Sebastien Pourcel races to a 4-9 (13 points) two moto finish in the MX 1 class of the 2007 Motocross Des Nations this past weekend at Budds Creek MX Park in Maryland (USA), leading team France to an overall 2nd place finish in the 35 nation event – which was won by the Monster Energy/USA team.
Said Pourcel: “Today I learned a lot and know what I have to do to reach a highest level, and that will give me good informations to prepare next season. The race conditions were demanding with the soft track and the weather, but I gave all what I had with my team-mates to get the best result. Nobody expect our family and team members really believed in us, but we are friends and worked closely together during the entire week. This second place is a great result for us. I will be back in the US soon to prepare the Paris Bercy Supercross.
Mitch Payton from Pro Circuit invited me to come practicing and testing in California, that’s a great opportunity to prepare in the best conditions next season.”
