Amsoil Live Timing and Scoring Draws Huge Numbers
Morgantown, WV- Amsoil’s free live timing and scoring starred as one of the biggest new hits of the 2007 AMA Air Nautiques Amateur National Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Thanks to technology provided by Tracksidesoftware.com, the Amsoil-backed program allowed fans and family from all over the world to log on to the Trackside website and keep track of their favorite racer.
The program was a huge hit, with 10,651,956 total page views. "We have seen steady growth in web participation over the past couple years. As the event grows, so do the amount of participants and enthusiasts who use the web for information," says Trackside owner John Dains. "Even so, we were really impressed with the numbers we saw at the conclusion of the week."
Trackside has been offering digital race data since 2001 and continues to grow and improve their service to the amateur community and beyond.
"I am very excited to have this service as a part of our growing program," says MX Sports director, Tim Cotter. "Live Timing and Scoring at an amateur event of this caliber enhances the fan experience for those that were unable to attend. We at Loretta Lynn's are grateful for Amsoil's support and this very worthwhile service."
