Huntington, UT Benefit Ride

This past Saturday OGIO team riders Ronnie Renner, Mike Mason and Sean Nielson headed down to Huntington, UT, to perform at a benefit for the families of the miners that lost heir lives in the mining tradgedy this month. The Governor of Utah sent a state helicopter to pick up the superstars, and transport them in style to the site in downtown Huntington. They met up with Country music superstar Colin Raye and former NBA MVP Karl Malone who were also supporting the families of the miners. The event started off with the guys riding some laps at the MX track with the son of one of the lost miners, Corey Black, and culminated with the guys putting on an unforgettable FMX show for the 15,000 people in attendance. In the words of Wendy Black, Coreys mother, “this is the biggest thing to ever happen in our community, and we thank everyone so much for their support”

Andy Bell got to surprise Corey Black with a brand new OGIO gear bag and some t-shirts and stickers, while Mike Mason taught him how to jump the freestyle ramp. The guys got to sign thousands of autographs for the crowd and also got to take in some of the concerts! It was an experience that the guys will never forget.
