Ripping into New Dirt at REPFEST
STILLWATER, Okla. – Area 51 Motocross Park’s new surface took a beating last week as associates representing KICKER’s 15 domestic sales rep firms visited the company’s global headquarters for the annual REPFEST.
A leisurely afternoon of motocross and golf followed KICKER’s weeklong planning and strategies preparation for the approaching SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show, International CES (Consumer Electronics Show), and beyond. The SEMA Show and CES, held in November and January respectively, and both in Las Vegas, represent the largest trade events the mobile-audio giant attends each year.
“When I’m on the road, word is that our reps are excellent people and the best in the business,” said Steve Irby, founder and owner of KICKER. “We’re always thrilled to have the best-of-the-best visit us here in Oklahoma.”
Area 51 owner K.C. Andrews noted that, “KICKER and its sales reps always practice what they preach – absolutely livin’ loud!”
KICKER’s positioning statement “Livin’ Loud” focuses on a lifestyle that means different things to different people. “Livin’ Loud” is mostly an attitude about life and the extreme energy at which it’s pursued.
In recent years, KICKER has concentrated its marketing efforts on motocross, board sports (wake, skate, etc.), car racing, and music. The KICKER brand, along with its five partners’ logos (Oakley®, Monster Energy®, OGIO®, Polaris®, and Makita®), is seen regularly at AMA Supercross and Moto Championship races, Summer and Winter X Games, and Dew Action Sports Tour, among hundreds of other events.
Those attending REPFEST included principals and sales associates from the following regional firms: Naeseth & Solaas Marketing (Washington); Weser Sales (No. Calif.); Murfco (So. Calif.); Reil and Associates (Colorado); Select Sales (Minnesota); Santa Fe Sales (Kansas); David Lee Marketing (Oklahoma); Tree and Associates (Illinois); North Peak Sales (Pennsylvania); TR Sales (Indiana); Tech Marketing (Georgia); Dynamic Sales (Florida); Opus Marketing South (New Jersey); Opus Marketing Mid-Atlantic (Maryland); and Opus Marketing North (New Hampshire).
KICKER audio systems and SoundGate integration products, divisions of Stillwater Designs and Audio, Inc., are available for the mobile audio aftermarket at authorized dealers worldwide, and also through selected Original Equipment Manufacturers.
