Race 4 Rett Fundraiser at Loretta Lynn's
Orange, CA.-July 24, 2007 – Nine-time Loretta Lynn’s MX Champion Kevin Foley is pleased to announce the second annual Race 4 Rett fundraiser at the 2007 Air Nautiques/Loretta Lynn AMA Amateur Nationals.
Wearing the R4R number and race bib will be none other than 11 time Loretta Lynn’s MX Champ Kevin Walker, who will be attempting to break the all time record for individual titles at the ranch this year.
Race 4 Rett, began last year as a fundraiser/awareness event for our daughter Emma Foley, who suffers from Rett Syndrome. The grass roots pledge per lap event raised over $30K for the Rett Syndrome Research Foundation last year and we are hoping to make this year’s event an even bigger success.
My family and I are excited to have our long time friends Kevin and Tracie Walker involved in this event. Although I am not racing at Loretta Lynn’s this year due to other commitments, we felt having Kevin wear the number is certainly the next best thing to competing.
“We are honored to do this for you and Emma!” said Tracie Walker upon accepting the invitation. “Kevin would love to break the record with the R4R number on his bike!”
