Fork-Rent Suzuki PR
With one week to the Grand Prix of Japan, Team Fork-Rent Suzuki headed to Cornwall in the UK for their first appearance at Landrake Motoparc for the 3rd round of the highly competitive DEP British 2-Stroke championship.
Both Jason and Jake were looking for race wins before their long trip on Tuesday and both riders achieved just that.

“I was having fun out there, the racing was quick but I didn’t want to push too much with the Japanese GP only a week away, I felt relaxed and confident on the bike”, said Jason after the racing.
Jake decided to race the Team Fork-Rent Suzuki 250cc rather than the 125, the first two races were real battles and Jake showed real class to finish just behind unbeaten championship leader Mark Eastwood, but race three was a different story as Jake passed Eastwood in the rhythm section and then pushed on for a magnificent victory.
“That was so cool out there, I picked the bike up on Thursday night and it was straight out of the crate and it performed perfectly, I’ve never raced a 250cc 2-stroke at this level so I didn’t know what to expect, it was close racing with Mark in all three races, I feel relaxed and ready for Japan”, explained the smiling 17 year old Jake Nicholls..
Team Manager – Mark Chamberlain
“The boys were awesome; we collected the bikes on Thursday and these were standard Suzuki machines and they ran perfectly. We really wanted to race at the DEP British championship as this is a great series for the sport.

Jason was superb on his 125 Team Fork-Rent Suzuki and deserved his maximum, while Jake was a class act on the 250cc, showing that he has a great future in the sport”.
