In 1990, Jeremy McGrath won his first-ever AMA Supercross in Las Vegas aboard a Kawasaki.
McGrath has won Las Vegas seven times, three in AMA Supercross Lites and four in AMA Supercross.
The only start McGrath ever missed was in 1995 at Las Vegas.
Mike LaRocco gave Suzuki its only win in Las Vegas in 1991, marking the first of his career.
Ricky Carmichael was the last rider to win back to back races in Las Vegas (2001-2002).
In 1997, Doug Henry became the first rider in history to win an AMA Supercross main event on a four-stroke motorcycle.

After 11 Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Shootout races, the Western Region has won six and the Eastern Region has won five.
Since the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Shootout started in 1995, a regional champion has gone on to win the main event four times: Windham in 1997; Carmichael, 1998; Nathan Ramsey, 1999; and Stewart, 2004.

Kawasaki became the first brand to win the Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series and both AMA Supercross Lites titles in the same season.
Chad Reed's streaks came to an end last weekend in Seattle after earning 45 consecutive top five finishes and 19 consecutive podiums. However, after 79 consecutive starts, Reed has finished in the top ten 78 times.
Reed makes his 80th consecutive start in Las Vegas.
McGrath holds the record with 120 consecutive starts from 1996 to 2002.
The names of all but one of Kawasaki's supercross champions have began with the letter J: Jim Wienert, 1976; Jeff Ward, 1985 and 1987; Jeff Emig, 1997; James Stewart, 2007. Ricky Carmichael is the only champion whose name does not start with the letter J.
Stewart becomes the first rider to win all three AMA Supercross titles, AMA Supercross, Eastern Regional AMA Supercross Lites and Western Regional AMA Supercross Lites.

SEATTLE (April 28, 2007) – Kawasaki’s James Stewart, of Haines City, Fla., clinched his first-ever Amp’d Mobile Supercross Series championship as well as his second Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP title when he captured his 12th win of the season tonight at Qwest Field in front of 47,445 fans. After clinching the Amp’d Mobile Western Regional AMA Supercross Lites championship prior to tonight’s race, Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, of Poulsbo, Wash., closed out the series with his seventh win.
