No Fear Moto X America Tour Set For Broome-Tioga
The second round of the No Fear Moto X America Tour — dubbed “Spring Mayhem” — will take place on May 5 and 6 at Broome-Tioga in Binghamton, New York. A classic natural terrain motocross circuit in every sense, up until just last year, “Binghamton” (as it is better known), hosted the AMA National Motocross Championship for 26 consecutive years.

“We put a lot into the No Fear Moto X America tour on a national level with the idea of having each individual race emphasizing a hometown feel,” says Britt Galland, No Fear Vice President of Marketing. “The success of the Barona Oaks race was exciting for us. Now, we hope the same excitement and enthusiasm everyone experienced at Barona Oaks carries over some 2,500 miles to Broome-Tioga. We’re confident it will. We received more positive testimonials from riders and their families at Barona than at any other event I’ve ever been involved in. I’m confident that if riders and families come out to “Spring Mayhem” that we’ll deliver an excellent experience.”
The No Fear Moto X America Tour “Spring Mayhem” round will feature racing classifications for riders of all ages and of all skill levels. The event will also feature several "first timer" classes to allow inexperienced riders a chance to experience the excitement racing in a safe and relaxed environment. In all, each stop of the tour will host 34 classes (seven Pee Wee classes; four 65cc classes; seven 85cc classes; nine Big Bike classes; and seven Veteran classes. Each class will race one moto on Saturday and the second moto on Sunday. Moreover, there will be 85cc and Under and 125cc and Over team Races). Camping will be available (and encouraged) at each venue as contests, games, giveaways and numerous forms of entertainment — a barbeque, tug-of-war contest (for various age groups), bike-loading contest — are planned for each Saturday evening.
The No Fear Moto X America “Spring Mayhem” stop will feature something for everyone. Holeshot prizes and awards are available for every class. You can also expect great prizes from No Fear, FMF, Factory Connection, Spy, OGIO, Fortress, Haro Bikes, So. Cal., Renthal, Etnies and Racer X to name a few. And while the Tour is skewed more towards the youth and amateur classifications, it will also feature divisions for more serious, professional racers as each stop of the Tour will offer a 150% Pro Payback purse.
Online registration for “Spring Mayhem” is encouraged as gate pick is based on order of sign-up. Race day registration will also be available.
