O'Neal Racing to be Gear Sponsor of Wonder Warthog Racing's Internship Program
December 27, 2006
Newbury Park, CA. O’NEAL Racing joins the Synergy Racing Technologies (SRT) team as the exclusive gear sponsor of the Dana K/Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR) Interns as well as Jacob Saylor.
O’NEAL has signed on as gear sponsor to the MDK/Lucas Oil/Yamaha team. They join the other major sponsors in supporting the largest and most innovative team in Supercross history. The team includes SRT’s 22 riders: Jacob Saylor, 4 Dana K./WWR Interns, and the 17 privateers riding out of the DeCal Works/P-Lok Hog Haven.
Chris Honnold, O’NEAL Rider Support Director, stated “We’ve been helping WWR with their gear auction for awhile now because we believe in helping the unsung heroes of our sport -- the privateers. This year, as they’ve grown, we’ve stepped up our level of commitment.”
“It’s great to have Chris and the O’NEAL team on board as our gear sponsor. We will make our presence known in 2007 and O’NEAL Racing is part of that equation. The Interns will have a cohesive and unique look that will reinforce our basic philosophy of unity among the team” said Scott Kandel, WWR’s Chief Altruistic Officer. The “Interns” consist of Ryan Abrigo, Chris Blose, Brady Sheren, and Kyle Tobin.
O’NEAL Racing, through their unique gear designs, will be supporting an effort to fully brand Wonder Warthog Racing as the most recognized team in the pits and on the track.
SRT and WWR look forward to a long and thriving relationship with the O’NEAL Racing family of companies.
