Your Collection

Monday, December 11, 2006 | 11:32 AM

This week's collection comes from Adam & Misti Tappe:

"Here are some pictures of my 1975 Bultaco 250 Pursang that my wife and I restored. Believe it or not, but my wife really played a big part in the restoring process of this bike. I recently had major back surgery and will not be riding for quite some time, but to be honest with you, I think restoring the bike and spending time with my wife was probably more fun than riding it (but it was a great feeling passing guys on new bikes while I was on the Ol' Sang). The project really brought us closer and she got the understanding of the passion we all share for the sport of motocross, which is a great thing. I hope you put this on the website; I think it would be fitting considering  the unfortunate passing of Jim "Bimbo" Pomeroy. God speed Jim."
