MDK's Tyler Bowers Sweeps the American Motorsports Columbus AX
San Jose, CA – December 7, 2006 – MDK Speed Equipment rider Tyler Bowers swept the pro class, finishing first in all four main events Friday and Saturday night at the American Motorsports, Arenacross at Voinovich Trade Center, in Columbus, Ohio. Bowers, aboard his MDK Speed Equipment Honda 250F and 450F posted amazing results in just his fourth event riding in the pro ranks. Bowers’ quick rise to the front is very impressive, but not a surprise to those who have been following his progress through the years. At 15 years old, he is an up and coming pro, who is just gaining speed.
“I am really looking forward to the rest of the BooKoo Arenacross season, and want to make a run at the championship. I don’t have my license yet, but the BooKoo AX champion’s Honda Ridgeline would really look good in the driveway,” stated Tyler Bowers.
“Seriously though, my MDK Speed Equipment engine package is really delivering the goods from fast starts to strong finishes, and the folks at MDK SE have put together a great engine program for me and the team.”
Erich Shofstall, MDK Speed Equipment Sr. Technical Manager, said, “the MDK SE performance products are ready to take every rider to the next level, and we are pleased to be able to provide great products to promising young pros like Bowers, Lacey, and Ames on the MDK SE AX team, as well as top-tier pros like David Vuillemin, Nick Wey, and Drew Gosselaar on the MDK Racing team.”
