Tonight On Pit Pass Radio
Pit Pass Radio is a syndicated motocross talk radio show heard all across the U.S. on radio and around the world on www.pitpassradio.com .The entire crew at Pit Pass Radio will be in the studio tonight. Join Tony Wenck, Scott Casber, Chad “Single Malt” Aplin, and Tony Tice.
This weekend Red Bull’s Last Man Standing will take place down in Texas and the course is said to be the toughest yet. We have heard all sorts of rumors of man-made obstacles that are just impassible, plain and simple. Tonight we will check in with the promoter of this event, Josh Whitaker. He has promised he will have some of the guest riders with him tonight including last year’s winner, David Knight. We also will talk with a local rider from Iowa, Jeremy Shonning who will be competing in the grueling event.
Also we will be spending some time with 7 X Grand National Flat Track Champion, Chris Carr. This 39 year old flat track veteran just set the Absolute Motorcycle Land Speed Record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah in September. The new speed record he set was just slightly over 350 miles per hour! This is a little different topic for us but Chris is a cool guy and it will be a lot of fun.
For the first time on Pit Pass Radio we will welcome Jim Holley to the show. You probably have heard him doing the Supercross Web Casts with Jason Wiegandt and we are eager to have him on the show. We will talk about how he was doing crazy things on dirt bikes way before the words Freestyle Motocross were ever put together. We might remind him of his 1985 FIM World Supercross Championship just to let us him know we haven’t forgotten.
FMF Brand Manager (formerly Tim Ferry’s mechanic) will be on talking about product and the days of wrenching for “Red Dog.” This guy has been around for a while and has some great stories. Be sure to tune in!
