Suzuki Announces 2007 Contingency for AMA Texas Winter Series
October 18, 2006 (Wortham, Texas) - American Suzuki has announced its factory contingency support for 2007 to its promoters. Again the FMF AMA Texas Winter Series will post great numbers. In 2006, Suzuki offered over $32,000 for the series. In 2007, the AMA Texas Winter Series will have $50,600. available to its Suzuki riders. The entire series offered over $300,000 in factory and product contingency in only fours rounds in 2006.
"The Texas Winter Series is not only attended by regional Suzuki riders, but by riders from all over the United States" stated American Suzuki's Brian Noah. Noah followed it by saying "Since national level talent is competing in the series, Suzuki decided to offer a more generous payout. Suzuki is proud to support the series and wishes all the competing riders good luck in one of the best series around."
Round 1 of the FMF AMA Texas Winter Series will kick off at Freestone County Raceway on December 2-3 (Practice Fri, Dec 1st). After the new year, the series will visit Village Creek MX Park, Oakhill MX Park and Lake Whitney MX Park. The last round at Whitney also serves as the season opener for the park.
