Nascar Team Expands to Supercross
Ware Racing Forms Pro30.com SX Team
Thomasville, NC – Ware Racing, which fields the #52 Pro30.com Dodge Charger competing in the Nascar Nextel Cup Series, has formed the Pro30.com Supercross Team to compete in the upcoming 2007 Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series.
Veteran pros Jeff Dement and Tyson Hadsell will compete in the Supercross Class on BSY-backed Yamaha YZF450’s, with 2000 West Coast SX champion Shae Bentley signed on to do the Atlanta, Orlando, and Daytona SX rounds in the Lites division. The Pro30.com Team is headed by owner Rick Ware, a former motocross and car racer with extensive Nextel Cup, Busch, Craftsman Truck, Trams-Am, and IMSA experience. Ware Racing’s Cal Northrop will serve as GM of the team, with BSY’s Tim Buffaloe serving as team manager.

The team will be based out of Ware Racing’s 21,000 sq. ft. facility in Thomasville, and will have its own engine and suspension dyno’s to aid in an extensive bike development program. The team is currently negotiating with additional sponsors for support, and will debut their semi tractor-trailer at the opening round of the Amp’d Mobile Supercross season opener at Angel Stadium Anaheim, California January 6th.
