Chris Stoler Benefit RideMonday, October 9, 2006 | 7:12 AM
The purpose of this letter is to ask for your assistance and support. Several of the motocross riders in our area are desperately seeking help to raise funds for an injured rider. This is extremely important to a lot of riders in our area. We are planning a benefit for a local rider, Chris Stoler, who had a serious accident last year while riding his dirt bike. He is only 35 years old. He suffered major brain stem damage which has left him as a quadriplegic. We will be holding a benefit ride and raffle at a motocross track on Saturday, October 14th to try to raise as much money as we can for his family. Therefore, we would like to ask if your company would be able to donate any products and/or services that we will use as prizes for a raffle drawing. Anything that you can send us will be greatly appreciated.
Also, attached is a copy of the flyer that is being distributed for this upcoming benefit. Obviously, if you have any questions, you are more than welcome to contact any of the persons listed on the flyer.
We apologize for the short notice, but we are trying to have this benefit as soon as possible since the weather in Ohio can change drastically this time of year.
Any type of donation can be sent to the following address:
c/o Brian Moon
10965 Shelby Fryburg Road
Wapakoneta, OH 45895
As I mentioned before, this cause is extremely important to allot of riders in our area and again, anything that you can send us for our benefit will be greatly appreciated by all.
Thank you for your time and assistance in helping this family in need.
