Broc Hepler Racing Unadilla GNCC This Weekend
Word has it that Makita Suzuki's Broc Hepler will race this weekend's Unadilla GNCC in New Berlin, New York. This is huge news for the Suzuki GNCC Series, as Hepler will be the first racer to ever win an AMA National Motocross and race a GNCC in the same year.
Unadilla makes a perfect host for the race. Both the original Unadilla track and the "U2" amateur moto track will be incorporated into the 10-mile GNCC loop. And Hepler has put in plenty of laps on that track, including a dominant 1-1 win at 'Dilla in 2005.
And Hepler's not the only guest. The FMF/Suzuki GNCC Team is also hosting John Dowd this weekend. Dowd raced the Wisp GNCC in June and finished fourth. Both Hepler and Dowd will race on RM250s, alongside GNCC regulars Rodney Smith and Glenn Kearney.
We've got a call in to Hepler so we'll get more info in a bit. But it's already looking like a must-see event in New York this weekend. For more info, check out www.gnccracing.com
