Ty Wallace Benefit Race at Sleepy Hollow MX Park on Labor Day
Many of you know the name Ty Wallace, a long time racer and all-around great guy. He is recovering from multiple leg injuries, which he sustained back in May. He is back to work at RRP (Rossini Racing Products), doing what he can and recovering slowly. Sleepy Hollow MX Park will host a fundraiser ride for Wallace and his family on Labor day.
At halftime we will host a two-lap exhibition ride around the Sleepy track in honor of Ty. The cost is $20, and all the money raised will go to the Wallace Family.
The MX boys from Pagoda Motorcycle club (Reading, PA), will be helping with track prep on Sunday. The Pagoda track workers hourly labor rates will be paid to Ty Wallace and his family, courtesy of Sleepy Hollow MX Park. Raffle tickets for a KLX110 will also be availabe for purchase on Monday, with all ticket sales going to Ty.
A silent auction full of MX goodies will also take place. The featured item will be an autographed Ty Wallace jersey #85. If anyone would like to donate an item for the auction, please contact Jere (717) 278-8998, or Eric (717) 940-8030 for further information.
If any of you have energy left after Steel City, come out to Sleepy Hollow MX Park on Monday to have fun and help support Ty Wallace. The race is also sponsored by West Shore Suzuki, and Suzuki contingency will also be provided.
Thank You all, see you at the races!
