Great News! Monster Energy’s Troy Adams Returns To Action at The Prequel
Former AMA MX Nationals podium finisher places 2nd at action-packed Prequel – good to go for this weekend’s Nationals opener at Hangtown
CARLSBAD, Calif., (May 15, 2006) – Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/
Kawasaki’s Troy Adams returned to competition for the first time
this year following a late ’05 season leg injury that forced him to
the sidelines for the entire supercross season.
Adams, an Outdoor Nationals podium finisher in the past, proved he’s going to be a force in the AMA Lites class during this summer’s AMA Toyota Motocross Championship series as he raced to an impressive 2nd place overall finish at the talent-laden Prequel on Saturday.
“It was great to get back in the gate,” said Adams. “I was a
little bit anxious in the first moto and maybe tried a bit too hard
to get the lead. But it just felt so good to be back out racing after
missing out on the entire supercross season. My Pro Circuit/Kawasaki KX250F is the fastest bike I’ve ever ridden. I can’t wait to get after it at Hangtown.”
Adams, Grant Langston, Ryan Villopoto and Chris Gosselaar and Troy return to action in this week at the opener of the 2006 Toyota AMA Motocross Championship at northern California’s legendary Hangtown Classic (May 21st).
