Team Yamaha's Chad Reed will be running the Unbound Energy colors for the 2005/'06 Supercross and Motocross competition seasons

CARLSBAD, Calif., (Nov. 23, 2005) - Officials at Unbound Energy announced today that it will be the exclusive energy drink sponsor for Team Yamaha's Chad Reed for the upcoming 2005/'06 Supercross/Motocross competition season, effective immediately.

"Before the guys at Unbound Energy even approached me with a sponsorship program, I'd tried their drink and liked it a lot," said Reed, the 2004 AMA Supercross Champion. "So when the deal was brought to the table, I was already familiar with Unbound Energy and was excited to align myself not only with an excellent-tasting energy drink, but also with a company that has a proven track record of supporting the sport of motocross."

Reed joins a team of Unbound Energy-backed racers that includes Nick Wey and the Unbound Energy/MDK/Honda team and former AMA 125/Lites Supercross champion Broc Hepler of Team Suzuki.

"Chad Reed will certainly bring attention to the Unbound Energy products," said Unbound Energy's Jon Bratta. "There's a very short list of racers that have the ability to win the Supercross title this year, and Chad's right up at the top of that list. It's going to be a great competition season and all the staff at Unbound Energy is looking forward to cheering Chad on - along with Nick & Broc - in their quest for the title."

Unbound Energy is available in 16 oz. cans at BP and am/pm retail locations, with more locations and a Sugar-Free Unbound Energy coming soon!
