ISDE 2004 and 1005 launches on December 5, 2005
IGNITION3 LLC will launch a double program DVD featuring Team USA in the 2004 International Six Days Enduro [ISDE] held in Kielce Poland in October, and the 2005 event from Slovakia. Both DVDs will be available on www.isde.tv and from action sports DVD distributors. Running time of both programs and bonus material is over 90 minutes. The programs will begin distribution on December 5, 2005.
The suggested retail for the DVD is $29.95.
IGNITION3 LLC [formerly JAL Productions] have covered the ISDE since the 2002 event in the Czech Republic. A double DVD of the 2002 and 2003 events which were originally broadcast on OLN are also available at www.isde.tv . These shows are much more than race reports. They are done in a documentary style and feature team USA as they face the challenge of competing against the worlds best off-road riders in a 6 day event that covers 200 miles per day of trails and special tests. This event is a test of the machines and the riders. The riders must do all their own maintenance with no outside help. And they change tires and do routine work during a short maintenance time at the beginning and end of each day.
The production team used a large crew with 6 cameras, and helmet mounted lipstick cameras to follow the action. The ISDE is complex a competition that covers close to 200 miles a day of off-road riding by 500 competitors from 50 countries around the globe who gather each fall to see what country can claim to be the best at this prestigious event. This same crew has covered the ISDE since 2002, and benefits from great relationships with the team and a deep knowledge of the event.
"We are happy to bring these interesting events to a wider audience. The response to the original 2002 and 2003 shows has been terrific. We are happy to bring the 2004 and 2005 events to the home video market.” said Dick Lague, Executive Producer.
The 2004 production is edited by Jon Lague, who also did a great deal of the original shooting. Jon’s partner and brother Jeff was the director. The shooters include David Cox, Jon Lague and Jeff Lague.
Narration is by noted photojournalist Joe Bonnello, and research and still photography was done by Mark Karya.
IGNITION3 is planning to shoot the 2006 ISDE in November when it is held on the North Island of New Zealand.
