AMA Pro Racing to Participate in Street & Smith's Marketing Forum

Wednesday, November 16, 2005 | 12:49 PM

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (Nov. 16, 2005) – AMA Pro Racing’s CEO Scott Hollingsworth is slated to speak at the sixth annual Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal Motorsports Marketing Forum in New York City on Nov. 29-30 at the New York Marriott East Side.

Hollingsworth will be a panelist in the Motorsports Sponsorship Forum where “AMA Professional Motorcycle Racing” is featured with the NHRA, American LeMans Series and Grand American Road Racing, on Tuesday morning of the conference.

“We’re looking forward to our participation in this annual motorsports forum,” Hollingsworth said. “AMA Pro Racing has much to offer potential sponsors and this gathering gives us a unique opportunity to expose and present our racing properties to the decision makers of major corporations. It’s also an opportunity to learn and discuss with our fellow sanctioning bodies ways of dealing with the challenge today’s market presents.”

The Motorsports Marketing Forum, which coincides with New York’s NASCAR Week, brings together sponsors, advertisers, agency executives and media as well as team owners, league and track executives, manufacturers and licensees from a broad spectrum of motorsports series.

The Motorsports Marketing Forum is the only event of its kind where leaders from every segment of motorsports media, advertising and corporate America gather to discuss the issues and opportunities in this fast-growing and ever-changing sport. For that reason, the Motorsports Marketing Forum has become a mandatory stop on the yearly circuit for motorsports business executives ranging from new comers to veteran top executives.
