Following two consecutive days and nights of rain, the picturesque hillsides of High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania, are still under grey skies. Low temperatures were a welcome in the early morning, but the sun is expected to shine through at some point today with temperatures climbing to around 80 degrees. The WMX Class returns this weekend for round two of the Triple Crown series. But surprise Hangtown winner Courtney Duncan is out today with a broken wrist.

The track was muddy and slick, challenging the riders during the first session—with the faster times coming in the second. In the 450 Class Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto lead the way besting Ryan Dungey’s 2:15.055 in the second session with a 2:13.451.

The 2013 season has been a struggle for Broc Tickle in his first season with RCH Suzuki. But the former supercross Lites champion was good in the second session with a 2:15.845—good enough for third best overall. James Stewart, Ryan Sipes, Tyle Rattray, Mike Alessi, Trey Canard, Justin Brayton and Jake Weimer would round out the top ten.

In the 250 Class it was 2011 High Point winner and defending champion Blake Baggett with the fastest time with a 2:14.794. Current points leader Ken Roczen was also fast in the second session topping his teammate Marvin Musquin by more than a second to capture second best overall. Eli Tomac struggled in the second session, with only the seventh best time of the afternoon. Zach Osborne (fourth), Jason Anderson, Jeremy Martin, Tomac, Justin Bogle, Nico Izzi and Martin Davalos finished out the top ten.

Tracks conditions should continue to improve throughout the day as the sun comes out and dries out the track. During both sessions no rider was able to jump the Catapoult double following the set of rollers after the start straight. Also, the pro section in the back has been shortened, and has the setup they run during amateur days.

First motos of round 4 can be seen live on FUEL TV beginning at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. NBC Sports Network is carrying coverage of the second motos starting at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
