It feels good to hear a pro relate to the plight of the common man. 12 hour days in the cold, heat, and incredibly dangerous conditions is a tough way to make a living. You are doing it because it is the best opportunity for you, and not because it is "fun".
I will never be able to relate to the life of a professional athlete in any sport and I appreciate their incredible amounts of skill and determination. Who wouldn't think it is easier at times because of the satisfaction in competing and possibly winning at the highest level?
We'll be lucky if he makes 3 events without whining about the bike or team.

and wound up on a Merge racing Yzf.......Never been one for making smart choices!
Lets hope that working oil patch really was a wake-up call for him..
ˆI've beeen in those shoes. My last year racing pro was 05. from then i went to remodeling houses, hanging drywall, etc.... I tried to make a comeback for the 07 nats and broke both naviculars and tore a rotator cuff in a bad crash while training. put me back to doing 9 to 5 work. it sucks, hope he can pull it. Please dont ride a yamaha
