RacerTV Launches Expanded Motorsports Online Broadcast Network
And Live Streaming Platform

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - RacerTV, a motorsports television production company and online broadcast network, announces today the expansion of its programming platform and event features. Kicking off next month with the opening round of the 2013 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series in River Ranch, Fla., RacerTV will stream the GNCC pro ATV and motorcycle races live on its all-new online network channel - RacerTV.com (formerly RacerTVOnline.com).

RacerTV will stream live GNCC ATV Pro racing starting at 1 p.m. EST, on Sunday, March 10, and GNCC Motorcycle Pro racing starting at 1 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 12. For the remainder of the season, RacerTV will stream live all 13 rounds of the AMSOIL GNCC Racing pro events, for a total of 26 live shows. The new platform will enable mobile and on demand live streaming, and feature social networking integration (live viewer chat!).

In addition, RacerTV will broadcast all 26 episodes of AMSOIL GNCC Racing action in 30-minute feature highlight shows within two weeks of each race on RacerTV.com. These shows will provide a more in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at GNCC Racing action and its stars.

RacerTV.com will also feature highlighted shows of all 10 rounds of the 2013 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship. The format for these highlighted shows will follow the post-live GNCC shows, consisting of 30-minute feature programs to be broadcast within two weeks of the live event.

In addition to the RacerTV.com coverage, select episodes of AMSOIL GNCC Racing and Mtn. Dew ATVMX will continue to be televised on the NBC Sports Network, for a total of 15 shows. RacerTV is brought to you by sponsors - AMSOIL, Can-Am and Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. Stay tuned for the announcement on the 2013 NBC Sports broadcast dates and times.

Other events to be featured on RacerTV.com this year will include the newly announced American Motocross Championships, which include the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn's, the Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross, the Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross, the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship, and the Thor Winter Olympics. Additionally, RacerTV.com will feature premier off road championships such as the WORCS Series and the OMA Nationals. Currently, the 5-round CMC Golden State MX Nationals are being broadcast on RacerTV.com.

"We are extremely pleased to be able to bring these premiere events to our RacerTV online audience," said Tim Cotter, spokesperson for RacerTV. "We are open to broadcasting all off-road and motocross events on the network and have reached out to other premiere race series in hopes that we can bring their great racing action to RacerTV.com."

Over the next few weeks, the RacerTV.com website will undergo a major overhaul as the new platform and features are upgraded. "We're really excited about this new project for the Racer Media House," continued Cotter. "We want RacerTV.com to be the 'go to site' for television-quality produced ATV and motorcycle race action, and we want to bring this quality to all race fans for all series, not only the events we produce," said Cotter.

Veteran motorsports broadcast specialist, Carey Bohn of Mainstream Media Group, has been commissioned to develop the live streaming production infrastructure, show programming format and on-line viewer platform. The live race coverage will utilize technology and technical support from TodoCastTV of San Juan Capistrano, Calif. and UK-based BoxxTV

"RacerTV will be using state-of-the-art satellite and television components to stream each GNCC event," Bohn said. "Including testing a remote camera system that will allow the on-site team to do live coverage from several wooded locations along the race course."

For more information on RacerTV, the events featured and broadcast or commercial opportunities, please contact [email protected] or call Nick Koester at 304-284-0084. A complete line-up of race events featured will be released on www.RacerTV.com.

And... We're off to the races! Speed TV just dropped coverage of the WSBK series in America, and the AMA Pro road races will not be aired either.

Motocross and Supercross are next. Speed TV has plans to morph into a sports variety channel to compete with ESPN. It will be stick and ball sports and NASCAR only. There will be no racing channel in America. (Motors TV online would be great, but they can't get their act together, either.)

I know it is hard to believe, but it is totally true that Speed TV is done. The contracts are already in place.

It wouldn't surprise me if the 2013 AMA MX Nationals end up on here. Go here and get some live TV events would be great.

It has been really great to watch all the first motos on Fuel TV, and then get some of the races live on NBC or NBC Sports, but then having to wait to watch other second motos really sucks. But all in a step in the right direction to getting the outdoor MX on TV.
