TUF Racing Signs Vince Friese

Wednesday, February 13, 2013 | 9:20 AM

Team Press Release

TUF Racing will field a two rider effort for the east coast SX this year with Vince Friese and Kyle Bitterman. The perennial Ax powerhouse team will try their hand at SX this year. Team owner Dave Antolak said " With the economy the way it is some of our sponsors cut out their AX budget, so we couldn't do the arenacross this year. We did the SX series from 1985 until we switched to arenacross in 1996. We had the bikes all done already for AX and since we had already talked to Vince on doing the AX for us, we thought we would try our luck in the east coast SX series this year. Vince has had some great rides for Slaton racing on the 450 on the west coast and we think he can be a top 5 guy in the 250 on the east."

Vince will be riding the TUF Racing modified CRF250 with help from the following sponsors: Slaton Racing, Factory Connection, Wiseco, Cometic Gaskets, RK Chain, Excel, Klotz Oils, NGK,
KG Clutch, Works Connection, Smith Goggles, Hinson, Duyba wheels, Dunlop, UFO plastic, Fusion Graphics,DP brakes, Hot Cams, Pivot Works, FMF, Cernics.com, Temecula Honda, Venning Motosports, Motion Pro, Voodoo Fast, O'neal and Renegade Fuels.

Dave has been doing this for a long time and He must see something in Friese.
I don't know the M O of Bitterman at all. But Dave is a class act and knows how
to run a race team.

Although somewhat skewed in either direction thanks to the stupid (semi) permanent # system, Friese continually earns low-ish #, so he clearly is fast. Seems to be bad decisions on the track......

Suprised T.UF is still around, I remember when they catered to some pretty fast Kawi's. Freezie is fast, seen that yrs ago, maybe that what T.U.F. see's. Keep her off the deck,
