As you will read in our feature “Three Kings,” Ricky Carmichael won a record 102 outdoor nationals. He also won 48 premier-class supercross main events, the first of which came at the 2000 Daytona Supercross. In an interesting side note, that first SX win came on the same day as another promising rider’s first victory as a professional, and one with an even bigger name: Travis Pastrana.
